Bio
Craig Astaphan was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and raised in his parents’ native countries of Dominica and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in studio art from the City University of New York: Hunter College where he concentrated in art photography under the late Roy DeCarava and in ceramic sculpture. Craig is currently based in New York City.
